Microsoft Excel Introduction Day 1 - Course Outline


Duration
1 day Course

Course Aims
This course will provide the user with the skills necessary to complete a basic spreadsheet.

Please Note:     The Excel Introduction course is composed of two days (Introduction Day 1 and Introduction Day 2) you can choose to complete the two days consecutively or separately or choose to attend only one of the days.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to:

• enter, edit, delete, clear and select data  • build a basic formula
• manage worksheets  • understand functions
• work with cells, rows and columns  • format existing data

Training Method
Training is conducted by professional trainers, using hands on exercises and user practise to consolidate concepts.

Prerequisite
Windows XP Getting Started or equivalent. Participants must have basic mouse skills.
