Microsoft Outlook - Introduction - Course Outline

Please Note: The Microsoft Outlook course is composed of two half days (Getting Started and Beyond the Basics). You can choose to complete the two half days consecutively or separately or choose to attend only one of the sessions.
Course Aims
This course introduces new users to the email and scheduling features of Microsoft Outlook.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to:
• start and end a session with Outlook • create personal distribution lists • identify the main areas of the interface
• create and edit appointments and events • address, create and send messages • create a maintain a contact list
• read, print and store messages • create and maintain a task list
Training Method
Training is conducted by professional trainers, using hands on exercises and user practise to consolidate concepts.
Prerequisite
Windows Getting Started course or the equivalent. Participants must be able to use a mouse.
